A dispersed microchurch network in northern england

GATHER

Walk. Gather. Belong.

A Church Without Walls

GATHER is a dispersed microchurch network founded in Teesdale, northern England. We walk with Jesus through the landscapes and seasons: meeting in homes, hills and local spaces to pray, share stories and serve our communities.

 Grounded in the North.

Moving with the seasons across the North of England.

Our Mission

We’re a welcoming church on the move. We’re passionate about the good news of Jesus and live it out across our hills and villages. This is faith for the journey. We walk it together. You’ll find us out in the fields, by the dry stone walls, and at the heart of local life. We’re local. We’re with you.

Our Rhythms

Life Groups

The Anchor Point

These are our bi-monthly gatherings in homes and local spaces across the Northern Provinces. It’s where we open scripture, share food, and build the rhythm of a micro-church. We keep it small so the community stays real.

Pilgrimages

The Way of Noticing
Monthly walks across Durham, Cumbria, and beyond. We don't just hike; we notice. These guided days focus on conversation and shared stories in the fells. It’s a low-pressure way to connect with the landscape and each other.

Retreats

The Still Point

Residential weekends at places like the Coach House, Buttermere. We run two tracks: one for wellbeing and nature-based art, and one for deep discipleship and prayer. You’ll leave with a physical creation and a clearer head.

Partnerships

The Servant

We work with organisations like The Hearth to facilitate wellbeing days for those who need them most. By sharing our mountain leadership and creative skills, we support the wider community. We call this being a "people of welcome."
