About GATHER
Who we are
A small network. A big invitation.
Who We Are
GATHER is more than just a meeting; it's a dispersed microchurch network rooted in the landscapes of Teesdale. We believe in the power of small invitations leading to big transformations. Our community is built on the simple rhythm of being together, sharing life, and following the way of Jesus in the everyday spaces we inhabit.
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
MATTHEW 18:20
Our Vision
We imagine a Teesdale where faith is found in the everyday—a network of small, vibrant communities that love their neighbors, seek justice, and follow Jesus together in the places they live, work, and play.
Our Partnerships
GATHER is a project of the Church of England, working closely with local parishes and regional networks to foster microchurch development across the North East. We are committed to collaborative ministry and shared mission.

Our Mission
We’re a welcoming church on the move. We don’t just sit in pews. We’re passionate about the good news of Jesus and we live it out across these hills and through our villages. This is faith for the journey. It's practical. It's honest. We walk it together.
You’ll find us out in the fields or leaning over a dry stone wall. We’re in the farmyards and at the heart of local life. Faith belongs here. It belongs in the weather and the work. We’re local. We know these dales. We’re with you through every season. We listen. We share the load. We’re your neighbours, walking the path alongside you.
