About the event
Step out of the daily noise and step onto the trail. As part of GATHER's pilgrimage rhythm, you're invited on a three-day trek across the breathtaking landscape of St Bega's Way, sweeping from the sea at St Bees to the peaceful shores of Bassenthwaite.
This is a space to breathe, connect, and move forward together. Walk at your own pace, take in the grandeur of the Lakes, and regroup at the end of each day to share stories and rest.
The Journey
Friday: We gather at St Bees to cross the Cumbrian plains towards Ennerdale Bridge. A private minibus shuttles us into the heart of Borrowdale for the evening.
Saturday: A glorious leg exploring the dramatic fellside around Borrowdale and the waters of Derwentwater.
Sunday: The final push, following the historic path north towards the quiet ancient beauty of Bassenthwaite Lake.
